Math
Information The teaching of math is a bit different than most of us parents remember. Because of the debate over "fuzzy math" and "new new math" versus "learning the facts", we offer this page as a resource when gathering information and deciphering how math is currently being taught in Hoover City Schools. Thanks go to Dr. Deborah Camp, Hoover City Schools' Director of Elementary Curriculum, Teaching, and Technology for being very generous in sharing information with the HSCIN. If you have any suggestions for this page, please write to suggestions@HSCIN.org. Resources and Links Greater Birmingham Mathematics Partnership - Hoover Schools participate in the GBMP.
